I have had 2 days of physical therapy. Christine is my therapist and is so helpful. She told me how to do things around the house the right way since I was never told any of this in the hospital. I didn't know this but I am not allowed to do any active movement at all in my leg for 2-3 weeks. This means if I have to move from my position someone has to move my leg for me. Crazy right? I had been moving it on my own since coming home from the hospital, so I am glad we know this now, and can hopefully prevent injury.
In therapy she moves my leg for me in all different directions. She has also given me some exercises to do that will help prevent muscle atrophy. I am really sore afterward, and it takes a lot of energy for me just to get ready and then walk from the car to the therapy room.
Mom is a great help to me. I am thankful she is here. Please pray that Greg's boss will let him work from home next week. Once mom goes home I will need someone to move my leg for me! I will need someone to help me up to the bathroom, up to eat lunch, and to get ready for therapy. It is amazing how much I take for granted! You don't know how much you are able to do for yourself until you can do NOTHING for yourself! I will be glad when Dr Guyton clears me to at least move my leg by myself.
Specific prayers:
-that Greg will be able to work from home next week
-that the nausea I am having will go away
-My dad to have a safe trip up on Friday when he comes to pick my mom up.
Thank you for your prayers.

Praying for you friend! Now that I'm caught up to the fact that you blog! I'm a little slow. If I were not a little tied up right now I'd come move your leg!
