I was going to write a long explanation if all the details I remembered from the hospital stay, but then I realized it sounded pretty negative. So, let's just say it was not a great hospital stay. I know Dr Guyton did a fabulous job on the surgery, but I am sad to say that Methodist did not impress me.
On to better things, today I will have my first therapy at Campbell clinic. I am moving better on my own, and we have gotten the pain under control.
Last night Susie and Nathan brought us some food and we are thankful. Mom got here yesterday and is incredibly helpful. Bonnie has been incredible. (greg's mom). She was right there in the hospital and here when I first came home. We have certainly gotten up close and personal now, but she has been a huge help. In fact it was her idea to take some phenergan with my pain meds because it helps them work better. That is how my pain got under control.
Well, again thank you for all of your prayers, emails and comments on Facebook. Keep praying. This 2 month recovery may get old fast! Yet I know that God has already gone before me and He will never leave or forsake me. So, I can do all things through Christ who stregthens me.
