Yesterday, I turned 29 years old at 5:05PM CST (Thanks for the details Mom). I went and met with a professor to discuss some potential projects for the remainder of the summer since all of my internship opportunities fell through. I have 2-3 potential projects that look promising. When Jenn got home from work, we went to eat at Soccer Tacos for the first time. We found the place using our iPhones and it was highly recommended. It turned out to be legit and we plan to keep going back. I received phone calls and cards that were so encouraging and kind from friends and family. "Thank you everyone!" Both Mady and Morgan called "Uncle GB" and said "Happy Birthday"! Man, do they know how to capture my heart! We ended our evening by going to take Morgan to swing on Ron's new swing set that he built. This has been a wonderful birthday and I am so excited that Jenn and I have a long weekend together.
