Today was our 2nd Anniversary and we had a wonderful day. Jenn left for work and I left for my final kidney stone appointment (everything is fine for the meantime). The doctor ran an x-ray and ultrasound (not pregnant haha!) to see where my stones were. They are small stones and he told me to drink LOTS of water and I would be fine!
After my doctor's appointment, I drove all over downtown Knoxville trying to find a florist to buy some roses for Jenn. I took her the roses during her lunch break to surprise her and she was in a staff meeting, so it was a quick visit.
When Jenn came home from work, we went to eat at Aubrey's because we had a $10 coupon. My friend, Brad introduced me and Jenn to the place last fall and I love their chicken fingers and honey mustard (its better than O'Charley's). They also have some incredible baked macaroni and cheese! We ended our evening by paying a visit to Marble Slab and enjoyed some delicious ice cream! Before we left, we took some photos of ourselves to remember our special day!
Jenn and I have been truly blessed these last 2 years even though we have faced some turbulence along the way with school, Chile, jobs, illnesses, etc. The two of us have grown through those times and we continue to see Christ's faithfulness in our lives. Furthermore, I have the greatest wife in the entire world who has made this year possible by working to put me through school! I am truly thankful and grateful she chose to spend her life with me.
