Well, I am officially 72 hours post op and feeling really sore! Today Greg drove me to the library where my mom works to pick up some books she had chosen for me. Well, when we got there i was really nauseated and my lips were white according to mother. So she made me sit down in the back and drink water. She also propped up my feet in a chair. I felt so silly. I guess I won't try to venture out again for another day or 2.
Other than the dizzy spells my abdomen feels alright. Its sore, but I think I am managing well. I can walk around without assistance around the house. I just can't seem to find any foods that don't make me sick to my stomach to eat. Hopefully when I wean off of the pain meds I will not be so sick feeling all the time!
Greg is a wonderful nurse. He has really done a good job taking care of me. I am so thankful for him. Also, thanks to Bonnie and Gro Gro for making a special trip to help Greg out the first two days. We will keep you updated.
